Merry Christmas to you all

MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Bikpakpaam, we are pleased to greet you during this festive season and we pray that each of you find joy in the twinkling lights and Christmas treats.  We also pray that during this holiday season each one of you is blessed with many special moments of love and sharing.  May your homes be warmed with the presence of children, grandchildren, family members, friends and loved ones.

We know that, for many, Christmas is not always joyous and it can be a difficult time of the year. We pray too that the Creator be with those who may have lost a loved one, is experiencing illness of a loved one, or finds themselves without the means of enjoying the kind of Christmas they would like.  Trust that there will still be many good moments for which to be thankful.  Do remember that the Creator is with us in good times, and in bad.

Fellow Bikpakpaam, as We extend best wishes for the Christmas Season of 2022 and the New Year, 2023. We would like to add that the past two years and this year has been one of the most challenging in our long history.  The impact of the Covid19 pandemic, the Russian- Ukraine war and the global financial crisis put new imperatives on us as citizens of Ghana and as an ethnic group to ensure that we not only survived, but also pursued and won some challenges, achieved some objectives, delivered on targets and continued our pursuit of excellence.

Now looking ahead towards 2023, we are even more confident than before that we will deliver on these ambitious targets we set for ourselves and stand once again in the light of achievement.

It is not enough, however, to express confidence in achieving our targets.  The measure of our achievement is based on the dedication, the expertise, the commitment and the strength of the men and women who steer the KOYA on daily basis as its executives, patrons, trustees, members of committees and all well-meaning and teaming Bikpakpaam.

And at this time of Christmas, there is no better time to reflect on this dedication and commitment.  For some of you, the growth of the KOYA is the first and last thought on your minds on most days. Some of you also sacrifice your time, resources and some even go as far as releasing their official infrastructure for the activities of the KOYA to ensure that the it can deliver on time and on target.  Some of you do more than is required and go much further than is expected.  At times, your dedication is at the expense of your own time, with family, friends and loved ones.

Don’t for a moment think it goes unnoticed.  Without such dedication, the KOYA would not be where it is today. We appreciate and praise your dedication and in this season of Christmas, send you and your family our heartfelt gratitude and best wishes.

As you enjoy the festivities with friends and family, as you give and receive presents, as you gather to celebrate, please accept our best wishes to you all and your families for a safe and enjoyable Christmas and a very Happy New Year.

Please, do remember to enjoy in moderation; for there are many more Christmases and New Years ahead.

Thank you.
