47TH ANNUAL CONVENTION OF THE KONKOMBA YOUTH ASSOCIATION,
SABOBA 2024.
We are delighted to bring you official communication concerning the upcoming 47th Annual National Convention of the Konkomba Youth Association, scheduled to be held in Saboba, Northern Region, from March 20th to March 23rd, 2024. This year’s convention carries the theme “Strengthening Unity and Resilience for Sustainable Peace: The Collective Responsibility of Government Institutions, Traditional Leaders, and Youth Associations.”
The Annual Convention serves as a pivotal moment for Bikpakpaam to come together and collaborate towards accelerating development in Nkpakpaando. Alongside our discussions on fostering peace and unity, the convention will feature various cultural activities, including Kinachong, Ichaa, and Ilatiin. Additionally, there will be a football match between Bunkprugu United and Kamshiegu FC, and a Special Durbar involving Chiefs, Elders, Stakeholders, and Youth of Nkpakpaando.
We would like to draw your attention to some important requirements for the convention:
- A branch registration fee of Gh₵400.00 will be required upon arrival.
- Accommodation will be provided by KOYA, but participants may opt for their own arrangements.
- Participants are responsible for their own meals.
- Please encourage as many members of your branch to attend as possible.
- Coordinate with Konkomba chiefs in your branch to ensure their participation, with each chief required to pay a registration fee of Gh₵400.00 upon arrival.
Your presence and active participation are crucial for the success of the convention. The national executives and planning committee eagerly anticipate your cooperation and contribution to making this year’s convention a resounding success.
